All of the MPQ Editors that work with Warcraft III work with SC2 as well. The .SC2Map files might not appear at first, but in the drop-down menu below the file name box when you're searching for a map, set it to show all files, instead of just specific types like .w3x or .w3m. Then you'll be able to see your map, and it will open just fine.

hmmm in MPQEditor I know that wc3 is MPQ 1.0 and all the newr blizzard games are MPQ 2.0.
So SC2 is like WC3 when its MPQ 1.0 or is it like all the newer games that are MPQ 2.0.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about here is an SS of the latest MPQEditor when you make a new MPQ (usually for rebuilding).

How do you find the maps in SC2?
I would test if you told me how to find the real map and play the hacked one.
