It seems like nothing is really happening. He's no longer affiliated with dota-allstars.com or whatever, and he's making a site so that people can help contribute to DotA. He's still going to obfuscate his code to stop people from hacking it. He's still going to protect his map. He's not going to release the source map. What's changed, except that he's letting more people do a bit more of the work now?

why didn't icefrog have full powers over dota-allstars.com?
