Sorry for necroposting, but if the author is still on the site or if someone has the source code of the program, can you upload it somewhere? As I asked Ladik to make also the file scaner, but he would like to have a source of it, for an easier usage. Link to the issue on github: https://github.com/ladislav-zezula/StormLib/issues/35 |

Link to the issue on github: https://github.com/ladislav-zezula/StormLib/issues/35 Beta build of MPQ Editor with Name Scanner is available: http://www.zezula.net/download/mpqediten32_beta.zip It will need some more tuning, but so far, it has some good results, compared to RMPQEx.exe. For DotA v6.81d.w3x: x-dep.exe scanned the MPQ and went down to 28 unknowns, using its large listfiles as input. MPQ Editor's Name Scanner went down to 91 unknowns, but using output from x-dep.exe as additional listfile, it went down to 1 unknown file. Obviously, there is some overlapping in the output of these two programs. I have to check whether this is because of x-dep being so good or because of the large input listfile that x-dep is using. |
