Deprotecting Sunken City

Post by manswan »

Hello, I have been trying for some time to deprotect Sunken City to see how some of the triggers work, models, etc. because I think this is one of the best maps ever created and I think that I could learn a lot from it. However, I have been unsuccesful in my attempt. Ive seen many suggestions to try this guide: http://forum.wc3edit.net/tutorials-chea ... 36053.html and I did, but with no success. Any help or guidance towards a working deprotection method would be highly appreciated.

Thanks !

how some of the triggers work

Someone that idk who wrote:Deprotection was never really mastered, and the programs that do it are often terribly flawed and fail to reverse several protections/optimizations. Some stuff often has to be manually restored.

If you want to see how the triggers work, extract the war3map.j and try reading the code. Fair warning though - it'll be obfuscated.
