Edit the map with JassNewGen instead of regular World Editor.

Obviously he's new to deprotecting, and he has problem with hexdecimals, so script errors occur, i guess the map is Twilight's Eve ORPG.

By the way, here's the tool to fix it: http://forum.wc3edit.net/useful-tools-f69/j-hex-to-dec-unhex-tool-t26236.html

Use it before deprotect

Thank you for replies.
However, before deprotection, war3map.j is nowhere to be found when I am using MPQmaster on the untouched protected map.
When i open MPQmaster this shows up:

BEFORE XDEP

AFTER XDEP

So I did what came naturally i tried to extract the war3map.j from the BEFORE Xdep which was in file0000003 since the AFTER xdep war3map.j had the same size of 364,377. but the problem is that i couldnt read file000003. It was blank.

Open the map with the listfile there. The listfile is basically just that: a list of files. Without the files named, your MPQ editor(s) and deprotectors/optimizers can't really properly manipulate/detect the files in question. (I think MPQ Master keeps its listfiles in a folder simply called "listfiles"? If so, just extract the .txt from the linked post into there and select it when opening the MPQ.)
