He replied with winMPQ ;)

edit: btw i am not a newcomer to wc3 map hacking, i have been "in the game" since 2005.
I have been there when dekkar started wc3edit, and i used to hate this site back then because he used to be a jerk on some other forum (won't say which one here) but since that forum praticly died i started looking at this site and saw it grew pretty large because i thought it would fail just as hard as Xantan's WTFdota.com site ;)

Long story short: this site now owns and i have some fair knowledge about jass and protecting/deprotecting/map making.

(no offense intended dekkar ;) )

if MPQCrashes u need to rebuild the MPQ.

to rebuild MPQ you need RMPQEx.
open the map
(geting the listfile is allways a good idea. just auto search and then extract listfile and merge it with ur own)
extract all the files inthere to a folder.

open MPQMaster and open in it a map of some sort (i usually pick 1 of the TFT Melee maps coz they dont have alot of files and they are allready .w3x)
delete all the files inthere.
add the files u extracted with RMPQEx earlier
and there u go. thats the map with rebuild MPQ.

if you dont want to rebuild MPQ use Ladik's MPQ Extractor.

all those files are aviable at what once was the tool section.
no idea how its calld now

anyhow. here is ur map after RebuildMPQ!

Aaah, thanks! I was just about to extract it with RMPQex and then just edit the files and then just putting it back in again.
But as i am more of a gui user this will work much better :) thanks!
