Extraction of weapon

Hi,
Can anyone guide me in how to extract weapon from Units like necromancer etc.

.mdx's (models) I think yea? or do you mean the icons (.blps/.tgas)...

Edit: either way use mpqrecover+mpqmaster found in list of tools in map depping section.

ya. .mdx format.

i want to attach the weapon to my unit.

Can anyone guide me how to extract the weapon from the unit as a item model.
For example: To extract the staff from necromancer as a item model(.mdx). i want to attach the staff to another unit

Oh wow thats ... something I have absolutely no idea on.. I'd use 3dsmax personally, but thats like 4000$....but...warez.....anyways, enough from me on this topic! good luck.

D:, find a program that allows you to cut a model (something connected to another model, eg, a staff) from a master model (the main model, eg, the necromancer with the staff)
