The system slows down when laptop is overheated, I have tried to find a solution using google and I found out that fan control is possible, one of the method is control the fan using BIOS, normally it's under the advanced tab but my laptop BIOS has no advanced tab, I tried to search for a solution but unfortunately, the laptop manufacture locks up the BIOS to prevent the users which has no knowledge about BIOS to change the settings because incorrect settings may spoil the laptop. So, is there any way to unlock the BIOS to control the fan speed so that my laptop will always keep cool?

Not an expert here. But others might be needing to know your its brand and/or model, (also bios version).

Also, I believe there's a reset pin hole or you need to use jumper connection between 2 points to reset it... or something like that in order to reset the bios if your computer administrator/vendor set up some password that prevents you from changing it.
