I'm writing from a mobile ATM so I'll have plenty of typos

My pc just shut down itself not for the first time and the power supply box Thingy is as hot as hell
Before the shutdown it made alot of noise also
Sometimes the pc can hold for days sometimes hours and sometimes few moment
Amy suggestions on how to keep it from happening?

Edit: PC works for now... But when I connected it back... I notice a smell on the fan behind the Power supply - Smells like something is burned..

Both times while were playing mafia II.
I used to play it alot with no problems
Also happens on games like cod black ops etc
So I just don't know what to do anymore :/

Take your heatsink off the CPU and wipe/scrape of all the white crap. Put some new heat sink compound on it and put the fan back on.

What's a heatsink?
As for now. After the windows 7 logo I can't see a thing not even my mouse and after a minute or two I can hear the startup sound yet still no screen but safe mod worked

PS: I checked the back fan while the pc was running and alot of heat was coming out of that opening

If your heatsink compound is old and dry, your computer can get real hot and start to "burn" You computer has a safety to shut off before it actually does burn up.

I thought so also but I after the first time it happend I cleaned the inside with a fan then it was okay then again in like a really short time and I find myself do it like over once a month which is dumb

Edit.
This is weird. I opened up the heatsink and it seems that something melted in there and cause I don't know the parts name I'll just describe it
Where all the wires coming from there two metal circle things hardwired in with a metal wire around it in the colors of red and orange and the other circle is only in orange and it has something coming out of it which I guess was something that melted and that melted thing is touching some other stuff that I can't really describe
