Without the use of third party programs, fire up cmd through the start menu and type "msconfig" Go to the startup tab and untick any unwanted applications you have. |

Or you can use CCleaner, it's a freeware. |

If u wish i can suggest u one such application "ADVANCED SYSTEM OPTIMIZER".Here you can use one tool STARTUP MANAGER to manage your startup programs on windows vista, you can enable/disable your startup entries using it.Its a 64 compatible application as well.I have used it & for me it is the best startup manager,u can also try this it is available at cnet. |
