DownThemAll!

Post by Risen »

For those who have this firefox extension, have you ever had any problems out of it?

Supposedly, it increases download speed, which I have noticed in turn, but the problem arises.

Most downloads either get a Timeout Error, Invalid File Size, Temporary Error, Size Mismatch, gets stuck at 99.6mb out of 100mb, and lastly, doesn't start at all.

I also have an exe from a completely different site that won't start.

Usually I can end the process, and it works fine, but I have to insert the links again to megaupload.

I have used this for porn uses, and even then it still fails, I'm downloading a 46 part transformers movie, I had half of them download via normal firefox, then the other half through DownThemAll!

Now I have 28 downloads that just won't start.

I can go to the SAME link as from one that's on dTa, and download it normally, and it goes fine..

Any solutions? I googled the subject up and nobody seems to have this problem.

I have uninstalled firefox twice to fix this issue.

I have downloads which can't be downloaded with dta from time to time as well. I think it has to do with dta not transmitting the referrer.

I sometimes think it intentionally does it, however, a site may just limit the number of connections you're allowed to have with it, I set the simultaneous downloads limit to two, and it seems to be rather fine.
