So, a while back, I rebuilt my computer from scratch except for the case and power supply, (kept the first because it was still good, and the last because I didn't have enough money left). I would like to note that this power supply has been struck by lightning twice, and it's a wonder it didn't fry all my components when I put it in my case, much less worked.

Anyways, recently, my computer went into sleep mode and never woke up on a hot day. I try turning it back on, and it just displayed a black screen. I also noticed that all my fans were off, including my power supply's. I don't click me a new power supply, and now I notice that three of my case fans burnt out along with my power supply. Awesome.

Also, I reformatted a while back, and my keyboard died with the reformat. I'm real good with computers,

Btw.. Is it common for your computer to be struck my lightning.. twice.
And just leaving your computer on a hot day makes it obsolete/fried?

If a fan dies, then the component that it is cooling will probably also die, if it's that hot. His PSU fan dies, his PSU dies, the rest of the computer shuts off immediately.

Dont you have a surge protector?

Oh man I have so much dead hardware - One mainboard died like 6 month ago, couldn't use the warranty since the store I bought it at went bankrupt. The replacement I bought died as well - gotta send that in. I also had 2 PSUs that died on me and like 5 Maxtor HDDs - they suck.
