BSOD BS

[*]Wow...I was installing Photo Syory on my pc and the of just froze...So I rebooted and NOW IT WONT FUCKING BOOT. I get the BSOD with the error UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME -.-

Help me dekar! How can I fix my hdd through the ubuntu live cd >.<?

Ubuntu might let you force the disk to mount, and then you can properly unmount it, but I don't think it will, if that's the error you're getting.
Anyway, this might solve your problems. It's got a bunch of disk utilities, and it helped me a lot when I borked my registry: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/
Or, if you have your Windows Install CD, you can run the Recovery console off of it.

Linux lacks tools to scan ntfs partitions.
I think you better mount it read only (-o ro) and backup your data. -.-
Then install Ubuntu and stay with it :D
