Did you mean "use MPQEditor"? Because you said use MPQMaster, and then proceeded to call it dumb.

Uhh.. Thats weird. Use MPQmaster. There are reasons why you shouldn't use dumb editors like mpqeditor, and that is one of them. For example, in mpqmaster it automatically detects what type of file it is and adds it.

I am also using windows XP.

Then why did you include this in your tools if it is dumb?

I don't know, I made this guide a long time ago.

Even so, I don't know why it says that thing when you try to import it. It never did so for me when I used it.

Hey owner123, I deprotected this map and I can open it in the world editor but none of the triggers are there for me to tweak. How do I get the triggers to appear for me to edit them?

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You can't. Except if you restore it that it takes months and do it manually and with very very hard work.

Well the only reason that you can't see the triggers is because the file "war3map.wtg" is deleted by a protector.

The file war3map.wtg has the triggers for the world editor.

If you want only to edit some triggers without restoring it go and learn jass and go at file war3map.j there are all the triggers of the game.

By the way, i don't understand you guys why you deprotect the maps.. it's useless except if you want to take the models and see their path's but the most part is useless because after you deprotect it you just see the terrain nothing more else.. the units are deleted , the spells and everything.

Anyone got a guide on restoring them? My anti-virus says there are multiple trojans and backdoors in jassnewgen so I am not going to use that.

That guide would be nicer if all the pictures were not gone...
