Dewidgetizing

Post by Anarki »

How do you dewidgetize a map, ie. restore object data from a map that has been widgetized? I've heard to use something called Silk Object Console, but I cannot seem to get it working (it would take my map, but then freeze on war3units.doo).

There is a very small reference to restoring object data in that guide, and it basically says to go download that russian program that does not work for me.

I believe if it sticks at a file, you can hit enter and it will continue.

It should be in SOC's folder.

Doesn't work.

And it's freezing on extracting war3map.wts.

I tried using it on an unprotected unwidgetized map, and it just freezes anyway (this time on Dummy.mdx).

EDIT: Yeah, it just freezes after extracting 15 items.
