saving map errors

Post by rws_killer5 »

I am trying to deprotect a map and i already used xdep and replaced the war3map.w3i file, but when i try to save, it says that there are script errors. Any ways/ tutorials on fixing them? thanks

Try this, when you open the map with RMPQEx, Hit "Deobfusciate map script", insert the new script into the non-deprotected map, then deprotect that map.

You may need to do some manual work with the "Quest Inlining"..

E.G:
Spoiler:

Code: Select all

call CreateQuestBJ( Something, Something, "Commands", "Commands are;
-gay
-queer
-mapsucks
-etc, "something.blp")

Just inline that so it isn't in different lines.

If you're doing what I asked, then the output file would mean what path to place the deobfusciated script, i'd prefer desktop, since it's easily reachable.
