error with warcraft 3 tft

im veryl pissed. i just bought this game and tried to go online. everything went well i got patch ect ect. now when i click battle net it says there is an error writing to your hard drive while trying to download something from battle net. i hope someone can help me

Try re-updating. Go into WC3's install folder, and click BNUpdate or something similar. It should update, if it isn't already. If it is updated, and it's not working... Try a different server. Click the magnifying glass next to the Battle.Net button, and choose a different server.

I also suggest visiting blizzard.com. They probably have a solution to it in tech support.

Hi,

Most likely you're IP-Banned.

You can test this by downloading the file at: http://www.Lordaeron.org/BnetDiagTool.zip

Extract the files and then execute the program inside.

First, type in "resolve *realm.battle.net" without the quotation marks. If you get many ip's, then that works.

The second test is to type this:
"connect *realm.battle.net" without the quotation marks.

Now, post the contents of Log.txt in a reply to this thread so it can be reviewed.

According to the results the manual states that the servers must be down but i do not believe thats the case do u guys have any thoughts?

I have come to the conclusion that i have been ip banned for reasons uknown (perhaps a mistake i dunno what i did lol) because i tried on another computer i have and it had the same problems and it worked like just a few days before so i believe that this is no normal error or i have been ip banned for some reason...
