How can I set this trigger up for 8 players to use at once..

        (Ability being cast) Equal to Meteor Storm [Spoofer]
    Actions
        Set UNIT_Meteor_Storm = (Triggering unit)
        Region - Center MeteorStorm <gen> on (Position of UNIT_Meteor_Storm)
        Animation - Play UNIT_Meteor_Storm's attack animation
        Wait 1.00 seconds
        Set UNIT_Meteor_Storm = No unit

why starts the effect of an ability - and why spell bing cast... I don't know if that will work - I'll look more at this later im in a dota.

Xantan we've already been through this.. :)

Casting an ability allows for exploit, which means if I'm in game, and I use the hotkey for the spell, then immedietly press the hotkey for stop, the trigger will go through with itself, and you will not lose any mana or have to wait for the cooldown. Using starting the effect of an ability makes your unit actually cast the ability, use mana, and wait for the cooldown!

The spell already works.. I've tested it and all! Just wondering how to use the arrys properly so multiple units can cast it at the same time!

why does this not work for all 8 players? whats the problem?

Well, think about it, if two units cast it at the same, it will screw up..

make the ability require a boalean or just something you can change in the trigger editor - then set the boalean to false while its performing, then back to true.

hrm- well... just make it require a building or something like this:

then remove it with your trigger when its going on

then add it when its done...

otherwise you'll need if/then/else for each player who has it which isnt hard either

I do not understand what you mean with the building... How will that solve anything?? -.- I don't think I understand at all what your saying.. Heh.. It's like in DotA, with all same heros, take Pudge for example, I can make a triggered spell that is just like the Hook (or a ghetto fucked up version), but how did IceFrog get to work for multiple units casting at the same time..

if/then/else a few times for each player and it will work fine if you don't like my idea
