NEED HELP WITH MPQ RECOVERY AND MASTER

Well i dled mpq master and recovery and shortcuted it but when i click on it it says open and save. Well i try to open it and it doesnt work. Please help me i want to hack maps. Also this may sound dumb but im new at this Whats a listfile? I'd love some feedback on how to help me open mpq recov. and master. :D

the listfile has a list of possible names for the files. if you dont have one the files will have a nameset that looks like this

file001.xxx
file002.xxx
file003.xxx


you should be able to find several listfiles in the download server. Not too sure what you mean with the open/save question. open up your map, recover your lists of files, and save it.

Where can i find my maps for wc3 and where can i find the listfile??? :?

maps will be like C:\program files\warcraft III\maps
And you use MPQ Recover to make a listfile of maps...

Also when i try to open mpq recov. it doesnt open?!?!?
I double click it and it say open and save when i try to open it it wont problems possibilites??

If you could, try and take a screen shot with the print screen button then
open MSpaint paste and try uploading it... if you now how to do that... =/

Yea it doesnt open i just keeps going back to the file download thing

Edit: Its like im dowloading the link help anyone??????

the problem is I couldn't understand your english. Just read more tutorials may be?
My guess of your problem would be: you don't have a winrar to open the rar file. Get a friend who know computer then get some helps.

No i figured out the problem and hacked several maps, the problem was i needed winrar
