Open it... open a map... make sure the MPQ optimzation options are unchecked... then
optimize... should work just fine...

Well, I'll show you what *I* push and works perfectly on any just about any map.

I check remove comments and useless spaces, remove useless code, anti bj, merge initializations, conditions, order strings to ids, shortest number representations, zlib deflate, other scripts opt, remove extra (*.j), optimize string usage, clean blps, clean slks, remove editor suffixes, remove editor-only files, and remove as much we-only data as possible.

If for any reason, your map gets corrupted while doing this, (meaning it get stuck and it won't continue), check on what it says, such as, I've only gotten one problem once, and it was on ZLib Deflate, so I saw that, and I undid it, and it worked afterwards.

i did checked
zkib deflate, remove comments and useless spaces, optimize script, enable map script-only optimizations, also optimize other scripts, optimize string usage, clean blps. remove editor suffixes, clean slks, remove editor-only files, remove as much we-only data as possible, init function merge, global init merge, antibj, strings identifier support, number-ize rawcodes

is that right?

Dont be afraid to do tests, but remember to keep a backup of your map. And the options at a quick look seem to be fine.

By the way, if the protection/optimization fails, it doesn't matter. It just creates a new file and leaves the original one alone, so no matter how badly it fails, it's fine, so there's no point in creating a backup ;p
