I've seen this in attachments on RC requests such as:
items-clean.txt
units-clean.txt

This call rawcode cleaner.
You can use haxorizer 2 to clean rawcode.

Unless I'm mistaken, a campaign .MPQ holds a bunch of different maps inside of it, so just extract the map and do the same thing. Or actually link to what you're talking about.

Hmm. That's weird. Out of curiosity, what map in the campaign did you extract raw data from?

I'm actually talking about that one.

The campaing map would be this one : http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/maps ... 1383353776

I already extracted all the w3x files (the actual maps from within the campaign and as you already knew I did same as always used rmpqex to get rawcodes wich turn out to be really good for nothing in the ability/items case, as in the past items and abilities are coded within other files - in the past they were in the war3campaign.w3t file)

So yeah, I'm wondering how to get them from there.

Here. Just renamed the war3campign.w3t to war3map.w3t and then used RMPQEx on it. The same can be applied to the other object data, or so I assume.

You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thx, but I still cant manage to do it ..

I renamed the w3t to war3map.w3t and then tried to open it in RMPQEx but it didnt work and just got as a result the famous "File is not an MPQ archive" message in the status bar of the program.

So how come you could open it tho ? :|

Interesting. I didn't do anything special - RMPQEx opened it just fine. Make sure you don't have the map open with any other MPQ editors or have it selected in WC3 or such.

I think i know how you did it or at least i got a solution for me.. dont know if it's the good one tho since the names of the items in the file are TRGXXXX but, I extracted and renamed the war3campaign.w3t to war3map.w3t and then inserted it into and empty map file (.w3x one) and opened that one in RMPQEx and extracted the rawcodes.

What I said in my previous post is that I cannot open the .w3t file as in Browse > choosing the w3t file > ok > open (says that "File is not an MPQ archive" message).

Close enough, I suppose.

Also, the reason you didn't get real object "names" is because their names are probably stored elsewhere in a different file - a file you don't have in the actual map, of course, since you only added the .w3t...but it's very likely a war3campaign.w3(x) file that could be added renamed to make it work. Possibly the .wts.
