You type -save

if you dont have local file saving enabled, you enable it via a bat file that the game writes to your computer

you choose a slot

you exit, rm

you type -load (well in zodiac u have to choose hero than load)

you get menu of options for what u saved wit

There's a solution to that known as asymmetric cryptography. Utilizing it you can craft a challenge response system that can't be cheated. It will give you a random challenge and you can only give the correct answer by owning a secret that isn't part of the map. The map only needs a public key to verify the answer, the private key stays secret with you.
