I'm searching for the files causing problems. It's a pretty difficult map, first one that is this protected that I've seen.

Files causing issues:

campaignunitfunc.txt
itemfunc.txt
campaignabilitystrings.txt
NeutralUpgradeStrings.txt

To be honest, I'm not sure how to fix them. We'd need someone better with SILK to help (I don't pretend to be an expert), but I've at least found the files causing issues.

But if I had to give a guess on what caused it, I'd say it was strings using characters from other languages (Like ß þ stuff like that)

If you just delete those files, it creates map files without strings, so that's out of the question. Uhh, I really don't know, I think George is good with silk though, if you want to ask him.

Added a section (Section 6) on fixing the error that you showed me in both that map, and the Vampirism Fire one.

Can you post the Units folder after extraction? I don't have MPQMaster, and the download won't work.
