File size too big?

When I was on battle.net I was gonna host my new map for my friends to test it. and it says that the maps file size was too big. I went to the warcraft map folder and it was 6,000 kb, and all the maps made by other people were under 4,000 kb. how do i make the file size smaller?

There programs that optimize your map, i.e. they make it smaller so you can play it. Search them on google or even here because they may be posted.
They quite easy to use, just follow a guide or the Readme.txt file
