Concerning to them my page is worth 22k$ and I earn over 30$ per day from ads...
So it seems like you guys aren't clicking enough ads, since I "earn" like 3$ on a good day -.-"
(And it's not a real earn since I pay the server from it...)

Well, I'm glad you've reached those numbers!

As for Dekar, I'm sorry, but I have adblock plus on my Mozilla Firefox, so I have 0% ads on 100% of the websites :)
I knows its hard to keep up with this, but, have you even wondered, to make your own dedicated computer? Instead of paying monthly for one :)

I also have a website, which isn't as active as this one, but I only paid 9€'s for 3 years :)
Then, the website is hosted on a dedicated I bought, and the only thing I pay monthly is the bandwidth... Which isn't much since I have enough money to pay everything :P

If you mean hosting it at home... that's phail. I would have to pay about 70€ per month for 50/10 mbit/s which is far less then
I have atm. In addition there are energy costs. If you mean server housing... That costs like 30€ per month and the special
hardware you need to be able to reboot the pc remotely is really expensive, too. And if there is some hardware problem the
technician would probably cost 100€ per hour. So I think there is no alternative.
And hosting at home would make this page horrible slow for you guys. We have 1500-2000 uniqie visits per day and over
10.000 page hits. The main traffic is generated by downloads so 10mbit/s just wouldn't be enough.

Never considered the electricity factor :P
But it ain't much, I think...
And yes, I'm referring to house hosting...
But my connection is 2GB/s since I have a special contract with my ISP...
Hardware problems I can fix them, since I have 5 brothers that are all informatics related... :P
That reboot remotely problem won't be a problem, since it's in the very next room of this one, and besides, you can simply use the program "TeamViewer" to do just that...

Depends, an average pc is about 160€ per year just for the electricity.
So you have 2GB/s and have to pay for the traffic?
How much does that cost?
