Well starting that I don't really know where to post this even though I'm here for a year or so.. cause I couldnt find a specific place. So here we go.

I was looking at a forum and they it is made was really awesome in my opinion. Here is just a random post I picked.

What is so awesome.

1)Well its rather compact don't you think? the comments I mean.. each comment is so short and has nothing but a nickname and a flag the user chose.
2)UCP looks really good.
3)when some one is quoting another person you dont see all the stuff he is quoting, you just see it under it like.

4)when you post a link it shortens it alot. lets say I posted this link www.wc3edit.net/some_post_with_a_long_name
it will show the post as (url)[www.wc3edit.net]

5)no moving avatars and bigass sigs
6)spoilers look nicer.

it shows the spoilers better imo (click starring or other the red stuff)...

7)All in 1 page... No need to go 30 pages forward etc..

Signatures and avatars and all that stuff are fun!
Indentations are nice and all, but then you either have the text wrapping around much sooner so you can have posts that are indented, or you have horizontal scrollbars. I hate horizontal scrollbars, I dunno about you, and text wrapping is a pain when you're trying to paste code in.

What's all that crap on the sides? Signatures and avatars are nice when not overused - if I had my own forum, I personally would make the avatar size limit smaller, and make it so you can't have images in your signature.

Also, separating posts into pages was meant to help people with low internet speeds - use to be where everyone use to be on 56k, and it would take forever to load pages, and having everything on one would make it rather hard to use.

ALSO ALSO: I hate it how people can reply to a comment in the middle of a topic, and the post won't go to the latest page.

Hmmm I guess you have a point
Avatars and sigs are nice and I likem. Tough some times they are way over used... But O.K thanks for the notice.
