i follow the tutorial and it worked for me. whats seems to be the problem? some maps are just more protected then others.
make sure u get the listfile from the map by RMPQEx. merge it with the xdep listfile. then it will be deprotected by xdep. but if even after this the map wont open. use MPQMaster to replace war3map.w3i with a blank one.
