Hello, as the tittle says. I need help or at least a guidance of "how to translate", What tools I need. Everything should help.
I'm trying to translate a map of 40mb + size. So keep this in mind.
I was trying to use W3M Master but, when I change something in Abilities tooltip text, they don't save the changes. He only work changing name map.

EDIT: Using W3M Master, and checking the Text in Abilities, only show text like "????.3????+[???20]. N????10". The map is Chinese.. So should I Install & Use Chinese language in my O.S?. or W3M Master don't support languages like Chineses / Korean / Jap.?

Extract the file and try to open it in something like MS Word. Upload the file so I can look at it.

i've translated different map contents before and it can be done easily.

Yes I already tried this, I can see the "chinese simplified language" when I open war3map.w3a in MS Word. The map is Anime Fight Star v4.7

So what I should do... If I want to translate at least 1 skill. For example [A04D] without "[]".

You need to decode those word 1st,use utfizer. i used notepad+++ btw

Sorry but I don't get it... Idk how to use utfizer, or where to use, or how it works.
Do you mean to use utfizer from here "wc3edit link" in W3M Master when I execute Ability edition?. Or you're talking about "[]"... They all disappeared when I put the right language "chinese simplified".
I have Notepad++ but I never used for this.

Yes,Utifizer can decrypt words back to its language,so you can translate unforeign1 to english.
Im not familiar wth W3M Master you can translate abilities by not using it.

Just use Notepad++ then save your work,import back to Mpq Editor.

Hi I'm here again, I have a question, to translate something from the map, first I need to get a full listfile of the map for replacing files in MPQ editor?.

nope u not need full listfile to translate
u can edit in war3map.j war3map.wts war3map.w3a war3map.w3u and replace them
fulllistfile is help u have more model in your map

Thanks for the answer, but what tool should I use to replace the files?. MPQmaster? or MPQEditor v3.5.1.770 ?.
EDIT: Nvm both tools can do it

How do you know this is a chinese map? Anime is japanese. I've tried opening it up as chinese text as well as Japanese and Korean. When using a translator, they all seem to come up with a word or 2 in english, but the rest stays in the other language. Can you upload the map?
