Just to clarify things in this post.. It's the MPQ which is corrupted, not the map.

When speaking to the public, certain things do not need to be clarified.

Map = MPQ.

I'm just clarifying just in case some people get the wrong idea because it IS a fact that the map itself isn't corrupted. Only the MPQ.
Anyway it's just for clarification purposes.
