I just had a hell of a time. I tried to test a map, so I ran WC3 in WINE. I thought about using the -window argument, but I wasn't sure how to use arguments for programs in WINE, so I just ran it. Big mistake. It fullscreened and changed the resolution, and then it somehow froze up. It took me a while to switch to another program (it kept pulling itself to the front and covering everything). Then, it took me a while to manage to kill the stupid thing. Then, I changed the resolution back. So, my resolution was now back to normal, but my display was glitching. It was as if someone put a black paper covering my screen, but cut away 2/3 of the top left part. There was a big border of black, but I could still click in it. It still worked, it just wasn't showing it. After 15 minutes of looking for solutions, I just saved and used Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to restart the X server. Thankfully, it's working again. I had to log in again, and open up my stuff again, but it was working normally again, so... that's a good thing.
