Telling him to search for it doesn't accomplish anything. We have to assume that they have already attempted to find it, and suck at it. If you're going to try to help members on the forum, try actually helping them. And you're not crippling them, you're just helping them immediately. I doubt they'll actually improve their searching skills just because someone wouldn't give them a link.
